NOTE 1:
Make sure that the wires are firmly connected to the terminals.
NOTE 2:
There are two kinds of output: output terminals/outlets (Output 1) and programmable terminals
(Output 2). Please connect non-critical devices to the programmable terminal and critical devices to the
output terminals/outlets. During power failure, you may extend the backup time for critical devices by setting
shorter backup time for non-critical devices.
NOTE 3:
Please install the output breaker between the output terminal and the load, and the circuit breaker
should be qualified with a current leakage protective function if necessary.
6) Insert the EPO plug in the EPO slot on the rear panel if needed.
7) Put the terminal block cover back on the rear panel of the UPS.
Warning:
(Only for the standard model)
●
Make sure the UPS is not turned on during installation. The UPS should not be turned on during wiring
connection.
●
Do not try to modify the standard model to obtain a long-run model. In particular, do not try to connect
our standard internal battery to an external battery which is not provided by Infosec. The battery type
and voltage may be different. If you connect them together it may cause an electric shock or fire!
Warning:
(Only for the long-run model)
●
Make sure a DC breaker or other protective device is installed between the UPS and external battery
pack. If not, please install it carefully. Switch off the battery breaker before installation.
NOTE:
Set the battery pack breaker to the “OFF” position and then install the battery pack.
●
Pay particular attention to the rated battery voltage marked on the rear panel. If you want to change the
numbers of the battery pack, please make sure you modify the setting simultaneously. Connecting with
the wrong battery voltage may cause permanent damage of the UPS. Make sure the battery pack
voltage is correct.
●
Pay particular attention to the polarity marking on the external battery terminal block, and make sure the
correct battery polarity is connected. Incorrect connection may cause permanent damage to the UPS.
●
Make sure the battery input wiring is correct before the UPS is turned on. The wire current spec, color,
position, connection and conductance reliability should be carefully checked. Make sure the battery
polarity (+/-) is correct - not reversed or short-circuited.
●
Make sure the protective ground wiring is correct. The wire current spec, color, position, connection and
conductance reliability should be carefully checked.
●
Make sure the utility input & output wiring is correct. The wire current spec, color, position, connection
and conductance reliability should be carefully checked. Make sure the L/N site is correct - not reversed
or short-circuited.
