3 Connections

3.1

System Connections for Initialization

NOTE

Make sure you have at least installed

ONE

hard drive into the EonNAS system. It is

strongly recommended that

TWO

hard drives are installed upon initialization!

The system connection requires the user to

(1)

Connect an Ethernet cable from the EonNAS system to a switch / router

(2)

Place the CD that came with the system into your PC’s CD-ROM

(3)

Connect an Ethernet cable from the “

SAME

” switch / router to the PC

(4)

Connect the power cable(s) to the EonNAS system and to a power outlet

(5)

Press the power button / switches to start up the system
