Powersmart PC Software Interface Device(s) 

 

To access the software interface to the BUC via the Power Smart 2480 the following are required; a USB 
cable, as well as a custom internal Cable Assembly CC20-054A-01 (16W on mount to BUC) or CC19-012A-
01 (8W on mount to BUC) and M&C External mount cable CC20-029A-XX to Powersmart provided by C-
COM Satellite Systems Inc.

Procedure 

 

1.  Ensure Powersmart is powered OFF. 
2.  You will need to install the ULINX USB drivers on you pc before connecting to USB port on the Power 

Smart, refer to the ULINX Quick Start guide. 
 

Note: The USB device in the Powersmart works with USB 1.1 or 2.0 ports but have a maximum 
USB data rate of 12Mbps. 
 

3.  Do not plug USB cable into Powersmart USB port until the ULINX software has been installed. 
4.  After Software installation is complete plug one end of the USB Cable to the PC and the other end to 

the Powersmart. 

5.  Power ON Powersmart.
