Gyroscope settings

By selecting the

Gyroscope

configuration option from the sensor tree, the gyroscope settings

can be edited, as shown in Figure 26:

•

Enabled

: Enables sampling of the gyroscope.

•

Transmit Data & Log to Flash

: If the gyroscope is enabled, data is transmitted and logged to

flash when required (see Section 4.8.1 for global transmission settings and Section 4.4.1 to
start a flash log).

•

Sampling Rate (Hz)

: The sampling rate of the gyroscope (maximum 1000 Hz).

•

Range (°/s)

: Sets the maximum rotational velocity the gyroscope can measure. Supported

options are: ±250, 500, 1000 and 2000 °/s. A lower range has a higher sensitivity.

•

Calibration

: Advanced option that adjusts the scaling and offset of each axis.
