To switch on, press and hold the on/off button
[8] on the
mobile unit [4] for approx. 5 seconds until the start screen
appears. The start screen switches off again automatically after
approx. 20 seconds.
To change to the screen language of your choice:
press the left button
[3],
press the button
[2] five times until the menu item
is
highlighted,
confirm with the left button
,
set the language by pressing buttons
and
[2] "0" for
English and
confirm again with the left button
[”Select”].
When the mobile unit is switched on, the start screen can be turned
on for approx. 20 seconds at any time by pressing a button
[1/2/3/5/7/8].
The battery charge display
at the top right of the start screen
[6] indicates the charge status of the mobile unit.
To switch the mobile unit off, press and hold the on/off button
[8] on the mobile unit with the screen on for approx. 5
seconds until the display on the screen disappears.
When the mobile unit is switched off:
it does not respond to a ring on the door intercom and
no camera image is saved
but if an optional signal generator is connected, it will still
respond to a ring
approx. 6 seconds after a ring, a double tone on the outdoor
station can be heard as a signal that there is no mobile unit to
respond when no additional indoor station is connected or the
additional indoor station is also switched off.
Pressing the doorbell button [25] results in
a quiet "plop" sound on the outdoor station,
a bell rings on the mobile unit and the outdoor station (
)
"Call In" appears briefly on the screen [6] of the mobile unit
and the camera image from the outdoor station appears in
panoramic view. By pressing the button , a selected section
can be shown as full view, by pressing the buttons
the right, middle, or left section can be selected. The
selectioncan be done during a call or set in the menu. If the

signal is not received, the camera image switches off after
approx. 30 seconds (or after the set duration).
As soon as the
symbol is displayed, a snapshot of the
camera image from the outdoor station is saved on the mobile
unit (provided that the snapshot function on the menu is
activated).
The light [24] on the doorbell button on the outdoor station is
illuminated. If the conversation is not accepted, the
illumination goes off after approx. 30 seconds (or after the set
duration) and there is a quiet "plop" sound on the door
intercom.
By pressing the talk button
[1] you can accept the
conversation and activate the talk function as long as the camera
picture is visible on the screen:
Activation is indicated by the
symbol.
As long as the talk function is active, the camera image from
the outdoor station is displayed and the light [24] on the
doorbell button flashes.
Now either the sound from the microphone [21] on the
outdoor station can be heard over the loudspeaker [10] on the
mobile unit or the sound from the microphone [4] on the
mobile unit can be heard over the loudspeaker [18] on the
outdoor station in alternation (intercom function).
Press the right button
[7] to take another static image on
the camera and save it on the mobile unit; the
symbol
appears briefly.
The conversation can be ended by pressing the on/off button
[8]; otherwise, it ends automatically after approx. 45
seconds, the start screen appears again and the screen goes
off after approx. 20 seconds. Ending the conversation is
indicated by a quiet "plop" sound on the outdoor station.
If an electric door release is connected to the outdoor station, it can
be activated by pressing the door release button
[5] as
soon as the camera image from the outdoor station can be seen on
the monitor. Opening the door stops the ringing process and the
conversation, a quiet "plop" sound can be heard on the outdoor
station, the start screen reappears on the mobile unit and the
screen switches off after approx. 20 seconds.
In poor light conditions, the white LEDs [22] are activated as soon
as the doorbell button is pressed or the camera image is switched
on manually with the monitor button ("Mon"). The immediate
area up to max. 0.8 m in front of the door intercom is illuminated
by this. Additional lighting must be fitted to achieve a better
image in the dark.
If:
the mobile unit does not respond when the doorbell
button is pressed but the ring tone can be heard on
the door intercom
