1. DATA (0 – 31) – 32 bit actual data.

9. RS232 Tx/Rx and SERIAL DATA IN/OUT are mutually exclusive. The serial interface
can be switched from RS232 (default) to SERIAL DATA with a set of jumpers located
inside the box.
Units sold prior to October 1, 2004 do not support RS232 interface.

10. 6.0 VDC OUT - Provides power (if needed) for the next Adapt-A-Link unit, if two or
more adapter units are used in the same chain. Each unit can provide 1000 mA MAX.
11. 6.0 VDC GROUND - Provides ground return from the next Adapt-A-Link unit in the
chain.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Connect AC-DC adaptor to LVLV repeater. Green LED should be on.
2. Connect the LVDS output of the source to the LVLV input through an appropriate cable.
3. Connect the LVLV output to the corresponding input of receiving device.
4. Power requirements – 6.0 VDC, 300 mA.
Common problems:
1. The unit has no power due to loose DC connector or lack of AC. Check green LED.
2. If the unit generates an output signal but image is corrupted or unstable check the cables
and make sure they are firmly attached.
3. If the unit has power, but there is no output signal, check the cable pin mapping and the
polarity of the enable signals.
