DMX address assignment when using start address 17
1) Set the DMX start address:
a) Press the button MENU (10) once so that the
display (9) shows

b) Press the button ENTER. The address ad-
justed starts flashing on the display.

2) Set the number of DMX channels to be used to
control the unit:

DMX channels starts flashing on the display.

3) To exit the setting mode, keep the button MENU

lights up or wait for one minute.
4) Once the control signals of the DMX controller
are received, the red LED DMX (8) lights up and
the display shows the start address. Now the
LED-142RGB can be operated with the DMX
controller.

Additional Functions
7.1 Test program
To test the unit, a test program is available. To start
it:
1) Press the button MENU (10) repeatedly until the
display (9) shows
.
2) Press the button ENTER to start the test run.

3) To return to the previous operating mode, keep
the button MENU pressed for one second or wait
for one minute.
7.2 Indication of operating hours
and firmware version
Press the button MENU (10) repeatedly until the
display (9) shows the corresponding menu item:

(operating system of the unit)
Press the button ENTER to confirm. The display
shows the desired information. To return to the pre-
vious operating mode, keep the button MENU
pressed for one second or wait for one minute.
7.3 Reset
In case of malfunction, a reset of the unit may elim-
inate the problem:
1) Press the button MENU (10) repeatedly until the
display (9) shows

).
2) Press the button ENTER. During the reset, the
display shows
. Then the unit will return to
the previous operating mode.
7.4 Rest position of the rotation motor
When operating several LED-142RGB units via a
light controller, it is possible to adjust the units in
such a way that the rotation angle of the light
beams in the rest position is the same on each unit.
1) Stop the rotation of the light beams via DMX
channel 3.
2) Keep the button ENTER (10) pressed for
approx. 2 seconds until the display (9) changes
to .
3) Press the button ENTER to activate the function.
The value adjusted starts flashing on the display
(-127 … 127).
4) Press the button
or
to make the setting. To
memorize, press the button ENTER.
5) To return to the previous operating mode, keep
the button MENU pressed for one second or wait
for one minute.

Cleaning the Unit
Clean the lenses at regular intervals, depending on
impurities caused by dust, smoke or other dirt par-
ticles. Only this will ensure that light is emitted at
maximum brightness.
For cleaning, disconnect
the mains plug from the socket.
Only use a soft,
clean cloth and a glass cleaner.
To clean the other parts of the housing, only use
a soft, clean cloth. Never use any liquid; it may leak
into the unit and cause damage.
