same hot water served to the machinery. The thermoregulation is however guaranteed by the alternating
activation of the inlet of hot and icy water.
19. HYDRAULIC CONNECTION: WATER DRAIN
The solenoid valves used for the drain are of the normally open type, that is, they drain the water in case of
sudden power failure.
In the presence of several washing machines, the drain line must have a diameter such as to allow a rapid
outflow of the simultaneous drains of all washing machines; the exhaust manifold must be made in such a way
as to make it impossible for water discharged from a washing machine to re-enter an adjacent washing
machine.
The discharge is by natural fall; therefore, the exhaust pipes must not have depressions and counter-slopes: for
a correct outflow, a minimum slope of 2% is required.
The exhaust system must meet the requirements of current local and national rules and/or regulations.
20. USE OF DETERGENTS
For Tandems, only liquid detergents can be used. The entry of detergents into the washing machine is possible
only by injection with peristaltic pumps that, depending on the configuration of the machine, can be supplied
already installed on the back of the machine, or pre-installed on a kit to hang on the wall. In this case it will be
necessary to make an electrical and hydraulic connection between the kit and the detergent interface board
already prepared in the machine. Wiring information is contained in the pumping kit.
The user must contact his supplier of chemical products to be aware of the risks related to the individual
products and their combinations, as well as for a differentiated programming from that already provided by
IMESA.
You must have the assurance that your products and their combinations are compatible and do not cause
oxidation or harm to people and the washing machine.
In this regard, the following are the elements that come into contact with detergents:
-
stainless steel AISI304
-
polypropylene PP
-
EPDM and NBR rubbers
-
polyvinyl chloride PVC
-
borosilicate glass.
ATTENTION!
Attention is drawn to the fact that the use of hypochlorite (bleach) generates corrosion that can cause defects
on certain parts of the machine, under certain conditions of use.
21. DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE
The tandem is a machine that combines in a single solution a washer-cooler is a dryer. The machine is to be
considered unique and indivisible even if it consists of a washing unit and a drying unit with independent baskets.
For load capacities and yield in terms of hourly productivity, please refer to the technical data sheets of the
machinery available on the manufacturer's website.
The tandem is characterized by some elements that you need to know immediately, before starting to use the
machine.
