4.4 Installing Burning Software
1. Insert the “Installation CD” into the computer’s CD-ROM drive or into the
RipGO!
device once drivers
have been installed.
2. Windows – Double-click on the CD-ROM drive (usually D, E or F) in “My Computer.”
Locate the software folder. Double-click on the “Setup” file (Setup.EXE).
3. Macintosh – Open the mounted install disc. Double-click on the installation icon.
4. Follow the instructions to install the software.
4.5 Uninstalling Burning Software
If for any reason you need to re-install the software, follow these steps to uninstall the software
before re-installation.
For PC:
1. On the “Windows Task Bar,” click “Start” -> “Settings” -> “Control Panel”.
2. Double-click on the “Add/Remove Programs” icon.
3. Scroll through the list and highlight the software to be uninstalled.
4. Click on “Add/Remove” button.
5. Once the system has completely uninstalled the software, click “OK” to finish.
4.6 Removing the RipGO! Device from Your Computer
Windows Me / Windows 2000 / Windows XP
1. To remove the
RipGO!
device from the PC, double-click on the “Unplug or Eject” icon on the extreme
right of the “Window Task Bar”.
2. Remove the USB cable from the
RipGO!
device when the “Stop CD-ROM” message box appears
on the monitor.
3. Press and hold the
PLAY
button to return to the Player Mode.
4. Press the
STOP
button to power-off the
RipGO!
device. Remove the power cable.
Windows 98SE
1. Press and hold the
PLAY
button to exit USB mode.
2. Remove the USB cable from the
RipGO!
device.
3. Press the
STOP
button to power-off the
RipGO!
device. Remove the power cable.
