PAPR Blower Unit
Verify that each Cartridge threaded inlet has a black rubber gasket present that is properly seated without twists,
raised areas, or surface defects that may prevent proper sealing of the Cartridge.

WARNING
IF RUBBER GASKETS APPEAR TO BE POSITIONED IMPROPERLY WITH TWISTS, RAISED AREAS,
OR SURFACE DEFECTS, DO NOT USE BLOWER. CONTACT THE ILC DOVER CUSTOMER SERVICE
DEPARTMENT IMMEDIATELY. GASKET FAILURE WILL AFFECT THE RESPIRATOR
PERFORMANCE AND MAY RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH.
Examine the blower housing for cracks. Replace if cracked or damaged.
Examine the outside of the battery pack for cracks. Replace if damaged.
Cartridge
Examine Cartridges for mechanical damage and deformities. If found, determine potential for contamination of
user.

IF EXCESSIVE WEAR AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE RESPIRATOR SYSTEM OR ITS COMPONENTS IS
OBSERVED AT ANY TIME, DO NOT USE THE RESPIRATOR SYSTEM UNTIL ALL NECESSARY
REPAIRS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED AND THE WEARER HAS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE
USER PERFORMANCE CHECK DESCRIBED IN THIS USER INSTRUCTION.
MISUSE MAY ADVERSELY AFFECT RESPIRATOR PERFORMANCE AND MAY RESULT IN INJURY
OR DEATH.
