PAPR BACKPACK COMPONENT INTEGRATION
The Sentinel XL
TM
PAPR CBRN system is shipped with components pre-installed in the backpack. Use the
following instructions for general storage or addition of replacement components in the backpack.
1. Open the package/boxes and take out the components:
• Blower S-2002 (installed in backpack)
•
Battery S-2003 Rechargeable NiMH Battery Pack Assembly or S-2004 Non Rechargeable LiMnO2
Battery pack Assembly (installed in blower)
•
Alkaline Battery Adaptor S-4013 (Optional) Batteries NOT included
• Battery charger (with Instructions) S-2009
• Cartridge x 3 (with Instructions) S-2016
• Flow Meter S-2010
• Backpack S-2007
• PAPR Hood S-2001
2. Insert the hood, wrapped in its plastic bag, into the backpack hood
compartment, and close the hood compartment using the zippers.
3. Open the blower compartment cover, roll it upwards, and
fasten the straps with the buckles,
exposing the backpack
pad, and the three net Cartridge receptacles.
4. Position the blower on the backpack pad – the charging socket is
accessible through the pad. Attach the blower to the backpack, by
passing the 4 straps through the blower’s loops and snapping them
to the back of the backpack pad.
