5. Handling of lenses
5-1. Cautions when choosing lenses
Operates with CS mount lens. When using a C-mount lens, purchase the
separately-sold C-mount adapter.
To obtain maximum use of the functions of this equipment, use lenses designed
especially for mega-pixel cameras.
Choose a lens for which the protrusion of the lens on the camera mount inner
side is 6 mm or less.

5-2. Lens attachment
Align the lens with the camera lens mount and slowly rotate in a clockwise
direction to attach. The lens control cable is inserted in the camera lens connector.
When attaching the lens to the camera, tilt the camera slightly downward from
horizontal position so that no dirt enters the interior of the camera.
Be careful not to soil the lens surface or lens mount interior with fingers and
hands. If finger and hand soiling gets on the lens mount interior, it could result in
shadows on the screen.
Note:
When attaching the lens, pay attention to the following:
1. Be careful that no dirt or dust gets inside the camera interior.
2. Do not touch the lens mount interior.
3. Do not soil the lens surface.
Match the lens with the lens
mount and rotate slowly in a
clockwise direction to secure.
The lens control connector is connected
to the camera lens connector.
