only on calm days or indoors. Check
the centre of gravity before each flight
and make sure all parts are secured
properly. Switch on the transmitter
and make sure that the speed switch
(2-channel) is off, resp. the throttle
stick is at the low throttle setting.
Connect the powerpack. Hold onto the
airplane and slowly advance the
throttle until the motor starts running,
checking to see that it is running
clock-wise (looking from behind). If it
is turning the wrong direction, turn off
the radio and reverse the wires on the
motor. Leave the transmitter antenna
collapsed and move away from the
model.. Someone should help you to
hold the model. Although the antenna
is not extended there should not be any malfunction within a range of approx. 30 meters (100 ft.) and all
control movements should be executed properly. Now you may pull out the antenna. To adjust the radio
control system you have to start the model. Center the elevator and watch your model. If it descends
trim elevator up until it climbs slightly under full throttle. Adjust also rudder trim until your model flies
straight. After landing adjust the rudder settings mechanically by lengthening or shortening the pushrods
at the threaded couplers. Do not forget to centre your
transmitter trimmers. The Micro speed control 2G allows
you to take off from the ground. Put the model down, open
the throttle and after a few meters /yards the Taube will take
off. Trim the model as described before. When the
powerpack runs down, the model will slowly descend. If
necessary, correct by pulling the elevator stick and look in
time for a suitable place to land. Even at minimum speed
the Taube is easy to fly.
Should your flights end sometimes with some unexpected
"results", CA glue and styrofoam glue are good allroud to for
fixing broken parts.
