Ensure that only trained staff work with the appliance.
Follow the safety instructions, guidelines, occupational health and safety and
accident prevention regulations.
Furthermore, toxic combustion residue in the form of gases, ashes or condensation,
for example, is possible in the inner wall of the washing bottle.
Observe the accident prevention requirements applicable to
the activity and the work station.
Wear your personal protective equipment.
When handling combustion samples, combustion residue and auxiliary materials,
please observe the relevant safety regulations. The following materials, for
example, could pose a risk:

Combustion gases are hazardous to health, there-
fore the venting hose must be connected to a suitab-
le gas cleaning system or extraction system.

The C 1.30 venting station is used for controlled venting
of IKA C1 calorimeter.
The venting speed may be infinitely adjusted via a throttle valve by using a
manual adjusting screw. Please note that the throttle valve is
closed
at the
beginning of the venting operation.
Do not operate
without the ground clamp included in the delivery quantity!
The maximum permitted operating pressure is 40 bar (at the pressing tubing
(d)
).
Please observe the general laboratory guidelines when handling glass vessels.
