of the following conditions exist:

When fluids are under pressure.

Flying debris or loose material.
•
Engine is running.
•
Tools are being used.

1.
Park the machine on a flat level surface. Lower the
three-point tine rake setting on the ground. See the
machine Operation & Maintenance Manual for
detailed information on operating the three-point
hitch.
2.
Stop the engine and exit the machine.

Remove the pivot mount assembly.
(See Removing And Installing Pivot Mount on Page

Remove the jackstand (Item 1) and place the pivot
assembly (Item 2) [Figure 36] on the ground.
When installing, place a jackstand under the pivot
assembly.

5.
Remove the bolts and nuts (Item 1) [Figure 37].
When installing, install and tighten the bolts and nuts
to 47 N·m (35 ft-lb) torque.

6.
Remove upper retaining channel / pivot mount (Item
1) [Figure 38].
When installing, place the upper retaining channel /
pivot mount in position, aligning the mounting holes.
