For safe function, the sensor housing must be
electrically connected to the counter-electrode
(grounding)�

For this, use the housing connection (see
drawing) and a short piece of cable with a core
cross-section of at least 1�5 mm
2

When using metal tanks, the tank wall serves as
the counter-electrode�
For plastic tanks, a counter-electrode must be
provided, e�g� a metal plate inside the tank in
parallel with the probe� Adhere to minimum
distances to the probe�
