Mode 1 Quadrant:
P1(X) must be set to 0� Linearisation is only defined
in the positive value range�
With negative measured values the curve is
mirrored point-symmetrically�
Mode 4 Quadrant:
P1(X) can also be set to negative values� With
measured values lower than P1(X) the value P1(Y)
is constantly displayed�
Application example: linearisation
Using a pressure sensor, the level (volume) of a tank is to be determined and
displayed� The analogue signal of the sensor is proportional to the level, but due to
the shape of the tank, it is not proportional to the volume�
