5.8. Reset (release contact)
The release contact is connected to ter-
minals 9 and 10.
It fulfils two functions:
• Resetting the relay after the slip signal
report (when the unit is being used as
a slip monitor).
• Suppression of the monitoring func-
tion for a certain length of time when
the max. start-up delay of 15 seconds
is not sufficient (e.g. by connecting a
time relay contact).
6. Commissioning / operation
After mounting, wiring and setting check whether the unit operates correctly.
7. Maintenance, repair, disposal
In case of correct use no maintenance measures are necessary.
Depending on the switching rate to be expected and the load to be switched,
we recommend testing the relay contacts.
Only the manufacturer is allowed to repair the unit.
After use dispose of the unit in an environmentally friendly way according to
the valid national regulations.
