The device provides the supply for an IO-Link device. The IO-Link port is a class A port. The supply
provides short-circuit monitoring.

Pin 2 of the IO-Link port can be configured either as an additional digital input or digital output. The
additional digital input / output refers to the potential of the device supply (pin 3).
