2) Cleaning the Printhead and the Platen
a) Dampen a soft cloth with cleaning solution from the cleaning kit.
b) Carefully rub the platen (turn the platen by hand to be able to clean
the entire surface). On completion of this operation, dry the platen
using the dust remover.
c) To clean the printhead, use the CrushTube Swab
TM
from the
cleaning kit. Proceed as follows:

1) Remove the tube from the cardboa
sleeve.
2) Reinsert it in the opposite directio
swab side out.
3) Crush the tube at the dot between t
forefinger and the thumb.
4) Press the swab against a clean a
even surface, so it gets dampen
with liquid from the tube
