4.7  Advanced CMOS Setup   

 

This section enables you to configure your system for basic operation.  

You have the opportunity to select the system default speed, boot-up 

sequence, keyboard operation, shadowing and security. 

 

 

Quick Boot 

 

When this option is set to Enabled, DRAM testing function will be 

disabled. 

 

1st /2nd /3rd Boot Device 

 

This option sets the type of device for the first boot drives that the 

AMIBIOS attempts to boot from after AMIBIOS POST completes.  The 

settings are Disabled, IDE-0, IDE-1, IDE-2, IDE-3, Floppy, ARMD-FDD, 

ARMD-HDD, CDROM, and SCSI.
