5.9 Security Menu

Click

SECURITY

on the left pane of the setup tool to bring up the Change Password menu

). In this menu, the user can set up a 1- to 4-digit number (0~9999) as the

password for the ITDB-100L. When a password is set, the user has to enter the password

before connecting to the barcode reader.

NOTE:

The default password is

1234

. When setting to 1234, the user does not

have to enter the password before connecting to the barcode reader.

If the user forgets the password, it is necessary to enter the Backup

Mode to reset the password. Refer to

Section

5.10.3

on how to enter

and exit the backup mode.
