Secure the connector

. Secure the DB-25 connector to the external interface by

tightening the two retention screws on either side of the connector.

5.8.3 RJ-45 Ethernet Connection

The IMBA-9454B has two RJ-45 Ethernet connectors on the external peripheral interface

panel for LAN communications. Follow the steps below to connect an RJ-45 Ethernet

connector to the IMBA-9454B.

Step 1:

Locate the RJ-45 connector

. The location of the RJ-45 connector is shown in

Chapter 3

Step 2:

Insert an RJ-45 plug

Insert the RJ-45 plug of a LAN into the RJ-45 receptacle

on the external peripheral interface. See

Figure 5-19
