DeviceNet Slave Module Parts Description

(1) Module ID

FC3A-SX5DS1 indicates the DeviceNet slave module ID.

(2) DIP Switch

10-pole DIP switch for setting node address (MAC ID), data rate, output hold/load off, and physical 
port number

(3) Network Interface Connector

For connecting the DeviceNet communication cable

(4) Color Label

A five-color label is located beside the connector on the DeviceNet slave module. Connect each of 
the five different-color wires of the DeviceNet communication cable to the terminal of a matching 
color.
