25 DOOR ASSEMBLY - VANGUARD L 340 to 630 MODELS
The combustion chamber door is
fitted with four fixing points, two on
the left hand side which are normally
used as hinges.
The right hand side fixings are made
with fastening bolts.
The door mounting can be reversed
so that it hinges from left to right.
Door Adjustment
1.
Vertical door adjustment: is
possible only by adding washers of
the right thickness under the hinge
on which the door rotates.
2. Transverse door adjustment: is possible only
by loosening the hinges fixed to the front tube
plate of the boiler and moving them a little bit
sidewards.
3. Axial door adjustment: further adjustment to the
position of the door in relation to the chamber
can be achieved through adjustment of the
screws.

The combustion chamber door is fitted
with four fixing points, two on the left hand
side which are normally used as hinges.
The right hand side fixings are made with
fastening bolts.
The door mounting can be reversed so
that it hinges from left to right. However,
when reversing the door the counternuts
will have to be moved from left to right,
following the sequence shown 4, 5 and 6.
Door Adjustment
1. Vertical door adjustment: is possible
by means of rotation of nut after
removal of the grub screw.
2. Transverse door adjustment: is
possible only by loosening the hinges
fixed to the front tube plate of the
boiler and moving them a little bit
sidewards.
3. Axial door adjustment: further
adjustment to the position of the door
in relation to the chamber can be
achieved through adjustment of the
nuts and counternuts.
