65 BURNER REPLACEMENT

66 BURNER INJECTOR REPLACEMENT

Injector

Injection
pipe

1.

Refer to Frame 58.

2.

Remove the fan assembly - refer
to Frame 53.

3.

Unscrew the injector from the
gas injection pipe.

4.

Fit the new injector using a
suitable jointing compound
sparingly.

5.

Reassemble in reverse order.

Fit the new burner, replacing any
damaged or deteriorating gaskets.

Note. 

There are 2 graphite gaskets

under the burner sensor casting. It
is IMPERATIVE that BOTH be
replaced before the burner is
refitted.

10.

Reassemble in reverse order.

Note. 

Check the spark and

detection gaps - refer to Frame 63.

1.

Refer to Frame 58.

2.

Remove the fan assembly - refer to Frame 53.

3.

Disconnect the 2 ignition leads and one detection  lead
from the electrodes.

4.

Disconnect the pressure sensing pipe from the burner.
Pull the pipe downward to disengage it from the burner
mounting plate.

5.

Undo the 3 fixing screws securing the burner assembly

6.

Withdraw the burner assembly downward and out of
the heat exchanger.

7.

Remove  the spark and detection electrodes - refer to
Frame 63.

8.

Remove the 3 securing screws and withdraw the
burner from the mounting flange.
