Refer also to Frame 10 'Boiler exploded view'.
1.
Refer to Frame 58.
2.
Disconnect the spark electrode leads.
3.
Remove the fan assembly - refer to Frame 53.
4.
Disengage the thermostat capillary from the
retaining clip.
5.
Withdraw the thermostat phial from the pocket.
6.
Disconnect the thermostat electrical leads.
7.
Undo the thermostat retaining nut and withdraw the
thermostat.
8.
Fit the new dry fire thermostat and reassemble in
reverse order.

Note.
Take care not to damage the thermostat capillary
when inserting it into the pocket.

Refer to Frame 58.

The sealing panel need not be removed.
2.
Disconnect the overheat thermostat electrical leads.
3.
Undo the two securing screws and withdraw the thermostat.
4.
Fit the new overheat thermostat and reassemble in reverse order.

Refer to Frame 58.
Note.
The sealing panel need not be removed.
2.
Remove the split pin and withdraw the thermostat phial
from the pocket - refer to Frame 60.
3.
Release the thermostat capillary from its retaining clips.
4.
Remove the boiler bottom panel.
a.
Undo the three retaining screws.
b.
Push the panel backward then to the right to
withdraw it from the boiler.
5.
Pull off the thermostat knob.
6.
Undo the control box retaining screw.
7.
Push the control box back then drop the front of the
box. If access is restricted pull the control box forward
and remove.
8.
Disconnect the thermostat electrical leads.
9.
Undo the retaining nut and withdraw the thermostat.
10.
Fit the new thermostat and reassemble in reverse order,
ensuring that the thermostat capillary is correctly routed.
