7.4 Battery operation
Remove battery cover at the lower side of the housing. Insert
Battery, see. Chap. 1
"Technical Data".
Put battery cover back in place and tighten it.

When you tighten the battery cover, make sure that not too much pressure
is put on the weighing plate. The load cell may be damaged.
In the menu you can activate the AUTO-OFF function (see chap. 10.5.2 “Automatic
switch-off function“). According to the selected settings, the balance switches
automatically off in order to spare the battery.
The empty battery is indicated on the display by „
LobAt“
. Press
ON/OFF
-key and
replace the battery/ies immediately.
If the balance is not used for a longer time, take out the battery/ies and store it/them
separately. Leaking battery liquid could damage the balance.
