Step 1 - Setting the Jumpers

Figure 1-1: 586MBHP System Board

Your 586MBHP is equipped with a large number of peripherals and has the ability to run at a

variety of speeds without the need to change any crystals or oscillators. As such, there is a large

number of configuration jumpers on the board. Taken step by step, setting these jumpers is easy.

We suggest you review each section and follow the instructions.
