Step 5 – Enter into the 360 Shooting Workflow
(click the 360
button in the top right corner of the UI) then select ‘Arduino’ option:
Arduino:
Start Preview: Will complete a single revolution of the
turntable (used in conjunction with Live View to ensure
object is spinning in the center of the table and also
when pre-cropping a subject (pre crop while turntable
rotating to ensure object does not fall outside crop area
as it rotates).
Number of frames: Users can select the number of
frames to be shot in 360. To define a value outside of
the options provided in the dropdown, please highlight
the number and type in a value (up to 200).
Start: Will start the shooting process.
If the turntable is not recognized by your computer/Shutter Stream, it will not specify any Version and
simply say ‘Cannot detect any Arduino…’. In this case, refer to page 3 and 4. – and if need be, please
escalate to [email protected]
Step 6 – Pre-Rotate Turntable:
During this step, users will want to ensure object is positioned in the center of the turntable
device. Rotate the turntable (click ‘Start Preview’) while watching the Live View window on the
monitor to ensure the object is spinning on axis in the center of the turntable. If require, adjust
object accordingly to the center of the platform.
