Transmitting an Ambience Listening call
An Ambience Listening call allows you to send a
command that will require the target station to transmit
its microphone audio�
NOTE:
This function is enabled only when the same
status number is set between stations�

1� Push [Menu] to display the Menu screen�
2� Push [Left] or [Right] to select “Signaling/Call,”
then push [OK]�
3� Push [Up] or [Down] to select “Call Menu,” then
push [OK]�
4� Push [Up] or [Down] to select an
Individual ID
,
then push [OK]�
TIP:
About the Direct Dial function
When you select “Direct Dial” at the end of the
list, you can directly enter an Individual ID using
[Up]/[Down] or Ten-key pad�

Push [Left]/[Right] to move the cursor and push
[Back] to delete the entered ID�

After entering, push [OK] to set the ID�
5� Push [Up] or [Down] to select “Ambience
Listening,” then push [PTT] to transmit the
Ambience Listening call�

The target station transmits the microphone audio�

“ ” is displayed and the target station’s microphone
audio is heard for the preset period of time�

presetting�

“Success” is displayed after receiving an
acknowledgement from the target station�

“Failed” is displayed if the target station does not
send back an acknowledgement and the microphone
