Receiving a data call

When a data call s receved, beeps sound.
• “ALERTING” and the callng staton code (or text name f the call-
ng code s memorzed n the memory) are dsplayed alternately.

• When the call from a telephone, “TEL” (PSTN) or “PABX” s ds-
played.

Push [PTT] or [#] to set the transcever to the data recev-
ng condton.
• “ ” blnks.
• The communcaton tmer s dsplayed and starts count down.
(When no transmsson tme lmt s set, the tmer counts up.)
• The channel number and the communcaton tmer are dsplayed
smultaneously (llustrated as at below rght) when the commun-
caton channel number ndcaton s set to ON. (p. 27)
• Voce communcaton cannot be performed even [PTT] s pushed.

The warnng beeps sound 10 sec. before the communca-
ton tmer s actvated.
• The communcaton s dsconnected automatcally when the
communcaton tmer s actvated.

Push [Clear] to dsconnect the communcaton manually.
• Pushng [

] and [#] n sequence also dsconnect the commun-
caton. (10-key verson only)
• The transcever returns to stand-by condton.
• When not answering the call
If no answerng call s performed by pushng [PTT] or [#], the
callng staton code s stored nto the call back memory. (Max.
15 calls)

does not stored n the call back memory, s receved.

” appears when the call back memory that call back op-
eraton has not been performed s/are stored.

Push [Call Back] then [Up]/[Down] to select the desred
call back memory.

communcaton.
