Working with Drives in Bays 5 and 6

Before you begin

Read “Working with Drives in Bays 1, 2, 3, or 4” on page 47.

Read the documentation that comes with the drive.

The drives in bays 5 and 6 must have nonremovable media. (Your computer comes
with a hard disk drive in bay 6.) To install or remove drives in these bays, you
must remove the rear drive cage.

To install or remove drives in these bays:

Remove the screw or snap holding the drive cage and carefully slide the drive
cage past the cover lock and out.
