Print Unit Cable Connector – All Other Countries (50 Hz):
The print tower power cable does not have
a plug. Provide the appropriate plug and receptacle.
Understand the electrical standards for your country, and use only an approved plug. Your marketing
representative has information on the voltage requirements in your country.
Cooling Unit Connection Requirements
The cooling unit assembly requires a 10 A circuit breaker for 50 Hz units and a 15 A circuit breaker for 60
Hz units. Ensure that the wall receptacle connector isolates the cooling unit from the power source.

Japan
50 Hz unit: may attach to 220 V, 50 Hz, single phase, 60 Hz unit: may attach to 220 V, 60
Hz, single phase - or may connect to secondary of transformer provided for the printer.
Cooling Unit Connector
The 60 Hz cooling units have a NEMA 6-15P plug. This plug fits 208–240 volt grounded wall outlets
commonly available in the United States and Canada.
The 50 Hz cooling units have a standard CEE7 VII plug. This plug fits 230 volt grounded outlets commonly
available in Europe. If these plugs do not match the available outlet, install the appropriate outlet. For
power and phase requirements, refer to “Cooling Unit Connection Requirements”.
RIP Controller Connection Requirements
The RIP controller requires a separate power supply and receptacle with a 10 A circuit breaker. Ensure
that the wall receptacle connector isolates the RIP controller from the power source. The RIP Controller
requires the following electrical power connections:
