Preface
The IBM PCI Bus Master ATA 133 RAID Disk Array Controller provides a cost-
effective way to achieve higher transfer rates and reliability. IBM’s IDE controller
supports two IDE channels and up to four drives. It supports the following drive modes:
PIO 0-4, DMA 0-2, and Ultra DMA 0-6. The RAID levels supported are RAID 0, 1, and
10. The highest data transfer rate in UDMA mode 4 is 66 MBs, in UDMA mode 5 is 100
MBs, and in UDMA mode 6 is 133 MBs. This manual describes the IBM ATA 133
RAID controller.
