properly connected.
2. If the keyboard is properly
connected, have the
computer serviced.
601 A diskette drive or controller
error occurred. 1. Go to “IBM Enhanced
Diagnostics” on page 123
and if possible follow the
instructions to run the
Enhanced Diagnostics.
2. Have the computer
serviced.
602 The diskette IPL startup (boot)
record is not valid. 1. The diskette might be
defective. Try another
diskette.
2. If the problem persists,
have the computer
serviced.
604 An unsupported diskette drive
is installed. 1. Go to “IBM Enhanced

and if possible follow the
