User Manual

Ths chapter descrbes how you can create or delete, send or receve, and

organse or store your messages n the phone. The followng types of

messages are all stored under the Messagng Applcaton:

Text messages (SMS – Short Message Service)
Multimedia messages (MMS)

E-mail messages

Pocket MSN

TExT MESSAGING

Text Messagng s a popular way of sendng short messages to other moble

phone users, and n some countres to land lnes as well. Each text message

s a maxmum of 160 characters long. In some countres the maxmum sze s

70 characters f accents or other specal characters are used. Several text mes-

sages can be joined together to make one message, and your device will

do ths automatcally.

Create a text message

On the Today screen, tap Start > Messaging.
From the drop down list at the top of the screen choose the Inbox icon in the Text

Messages account.
