The term Beam s used to descrbe the short range transferrng of nformaton
between two unts va Bluetooth. An example of beamng could be that you wsh
to send the detals of a contact to another Wndows Moble
®
devce.
By default, the opton to receve ncomng beams s dsabled for securty and
battery savng reasons. Make sure that “Receve All Incomng beams”
s enabled n Start > Settngs > Connectons > Beam.
To beam an item
In the Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Tasks, and Pctures programs, you can beam
fi les and information to other devices using Bluetooth.
From the program, select the item you want to beam, such as an appointment in
Calendar, a task in Tasks, a contact card in Contacts, or a picture in Pictures. In
Calendar, fi rst open the appointment in Agenda view.
Click Menu > Beam. Select an item in the Contacts application, you should go to Menu >
Send Contact > Beam.
