4) Install the option board into the correct slot: C, D or E. See
Table 29.
a) The option board has a slot coding, because of which it is not
possible to install the option board in an incorrect slot.
5) Close the cover of the control unit. Put the cover of the AC drive back.
5.5 INSTALLATION OF A BATTERY FOR THE REAL TIME CLOCK (RTC)
To use the Real Time Clock (RTC), you must install a battery in the drive.
1) Use a 1/2 AA battery with 3.6 V and a capacity of 1000-1200 mAh. You can use, for example, a Panasonic BR-1/2 AA or a
Vitzrocell SB-AA02.
2) Install the battery on the left side of the control panel. See Fig. 24 The components of the control unit.
The battery will last approximately 10 years. See more about the functions of the RTC in the Application Manual.
5.6 GALVANIC ISOLATION BARRIERS
The control connections are isolated from mains. The GND terminals are permanently connected to I/O ground.
The digital inputs on the standard I/O board can be galvanically isolated from the I/O ground. To isolate the digital inputs, use
the DIP switch that has the positions FLOAT and GND.
