12.4 Telephone Operation
12.4.1 Hands Free Calling
1) When an incoming call arrives at the HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio via your connected
Bluetooth mobile phone,
Incoming Call
appears on the display for 3 seconds and then
the calling telephone number is shown on the display.
2) Press the
u
button or
Accept
icon on the screen to connect the call. To end the call,
press the
i
button or
END
icon on the screen.
3) To reject the call, press the
i
button or the
Decline
button on the screen.
4) When making an outgoing call, enter numbers by using the keypad within the HYUNDAI
Bluetooth radio or Bluetooth mobile phone and press the OFF HOOK button.
5) The phrase “Calling” will be displayed on the HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio screen and the
call is converted to Handsfree mode.
6) To end the call, press the
i
button or the ON HOOK button on the mobile phone.
Notes When Making or Receiving a Call:
a.
It is important to press the OFF HOOK (green) button on the mobile phone to make a
call if the number to be called is entered using the keypad of the mobile phone.
b.
It is possible that during an incoming or outgoing call, the connection between your
phone and the other party may drop out or end for no apparent reason. In most cases,
this will be due to the mobile telephone network. Make sure the mobile phone is as
close as possible to the HYUNDAI Bluetooth radio to ensure best Bluetooth connection
quality.
c.
To ensure the best sound quality at both calling party end and within the cabin during a
hands free call, close the windows and speak clearly toward the HYUNDAI Bluetooth
radio.
12.4.2
Redialing the Last Number
1) Select Bluetooth mode by pressing the
u
button
.
2) Once the
u
button is pressed, outgoing call will appear on the radio display.
Notes When Redialing a Previously Called Number:
Some mobile phones may require an additional press of button
u
when starting last
number redial.
