This knob controls the operation of the parking brake.

The square, yellow knob works as follows: With the knob pushed in, the

parking brake is applied and the transmission with Monotrol control is in

NEUTRAL

. When the knob is pulled out, the parking brake is released and the

transmission with Monotrol control is engaged.

NOTE:

The parking brake must be applied before starting the engine.

WARNING

Apply parking brake before leaving truck. Parking brake is NOT

automatically applied.
