If security is of the utmost importance then the bracket may be connected to the actuator arm using the
1/2” x 3” bolt, washer, and lock nut (IMAGE 3-1).
However, to enable quick manual opening of the gate in case of power failure, it is recommended to use
the quick release hitch pin with R-clip (IMAGE 3-2).
