Can Opening
Tips
•
This can
opener will
not open
rimles

It should

peel-off foil
or rolling
key
.

If ther

a dent
in the
rim of
a can,
open the
other end
or st
art the
cutting action
just be
yond
the dent.
Cans with
heavy seams,
uneven
rims
or odd
shapes may
cause
the can
opener to
stall.
If this
happens, turn
the can
slightly
by hand
to
aid the
cutting action.
•
Frozen
juices
or foods
in car
dboard
cans
should be
opened as
soon as
they
are
remo
ved
from
the fr
eezer. Aluminum
lids will
not stick
to
the
magnet.

Wash
and dry
knives
after

Knife Sharpening Tips
• Clean and dry knives before sharpening.
• Do not attempt to sharpen serrated blades, as this will smooth their
edges.
• Do not attempt to sharpen scissors.
Care and Cleaning
This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified
service personnel.
1. Unplug the can opener before cleaning.
2. Remove the blade assembly by lifting the lever up and pulling the blade
assembly out (A).
3. Wash the blade assembly in a dishwasher or by hand in warm, sudsy
water; rinse and dry throughly.
4. Before replacing the blade assembly, wipe the can opener exterior and
area around the drive wheel with a slightly damp cloth or sponge.
