3.4 User Interface
1.
Display window. indicates crimping measurement. (mm or inch)
2.
Display window. indicates crimping time. (0-9 sec)

Display window. indicates crimping opening diameter and settings for easy
calibration.

Display window. indicates selected die set and crimping counter.
5.
Service lamp. indicates when it is time for service. Can only be turned off by
an authorized Hydroscand service technician.
6.
Shift. press the shift button to toggle between the minus (-) button functions.

Crimping measurement plus (+). increases the crimping measurement incre-
ments by 0.1 mm/0.001 inch. Holding down the plus (+) button increases crimping
measurement increments with 1 mm/0.01 inch. Display window 4 indicates which
die set is to be used for the crimping measurement settings provided.
8.
Crimping measurement minus (-). Decreases the crimping measurement by 0.1
mm/0.01 inch. Holding down the minus (-) button decreases crimping measure-
ment increments with 1 mm/0.1 inch.

Mm/inch. Holding down the mm/inch and shift buttons toggles between mm
and inch.
10.
Crimping time plus (+). increases the time in seconds that the machine com-
presses before the retracting.
11.
Crimping time minus (-). Reduces crimping time.
12.
Selecting functions. Hold down the shift button and press minus (-) to ac-
tivate the foot pedal or back stop. The lamp beside the button indicates when the
foot pedal or back stop are activated. The crimping button (half-automatic) can-
not be used when the foot pedal or back stop is activated.
