4.7 Changing die sets with the QC-tool
The qC-tool allows you to change entire die sets in just one step.
1. Use the plus/minus buttons for die set selection and select the die sitting in
the machine. note! The die must be selected again even if it is already
selected in the machine in order for the machine to activate the smallest
measurement for the die set.
2. press the crimping button until light indicator nr 23 lights up. The machine is
now fully contracted.
3. To remove the dies in the machine, insert the qC-tool into the die set. place
the dies in the crimping head and turn the qC-Change-tool counter clock-
wise until it stops. Remove the qC-tool from the die set. if there are no dies
mounted in the machine, proceed to step 4.
4. Use the plus/minus buttons to select the correct die set.
