b) Operation on materials with strong adhesive.
c) Operation on hard materials.
• Select a blade of wider dimension in these
situations:
a) Operation on soft materials.
• Select a thicker heavy duty blade for hard materials.
A thicker blade also has a longer life.
• Install the blade with the bevel up for removal of
materials from concrete floors.
• Install the blade with the bevel down for removal of
materials from wood floors and soft subfloors.
To connect the product to a power
source
WARNING:
Make sure that the work
area is safe before you connect the product

1. Pull out the electrical cable from the retractable
cable reel.
2. Connect the electrical cable to a mains socket.
3. Put 2 weights (A) on the cable stop (B). Make sure
that the electrical cable (C) is not in full tension
between the weights and the mains socket.

To start the product

To operate the product
1. Operate the movement controls to move the product.

a) To move the product forward, push the
movement controls forward.
b) To move the product rearward, pull the
movement controls rearward.
c) To turn to the right, push the left movement
control forward.
d) To turn to the left, push the right movement
control forward.
e) To turn clockwise around the product axis, push
the left movement control forward and pull the
right movement control rearward.
f) To turn counterclockwise around the product
axis, push the right movement control forward
and pull the left movement control rearward.
2. Adjust the speed with the movement controls.
a) Push or pull the movement controls a small
distance for slow speed.
b) Push or pull the movement controls a long
distance for high speed.
