Preassembly of upper triple clamp
- Remove screws
from the original triple clamp.
- Take off handlebar clamp

and the handlebar from the original
triple clamp.
- Remove screws

with lower handlebar mounts

and take off
upper handlebar mounts

from the original triple clamp.
- Remove rubber bushing
(5
from the original triple clamp.
- Mount rubber bushing
(5
on the upper triple clamp
(included).
- Mount screws
(2
with upper handlebar supports

and lower
handlebar mounts
(3
and tighten to 40 Nm (Loctite 243).
- Position handlebars.
- Mount screws
with handlebar clamp

and tighten to 20 Nm.
Preliminary work
- Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand (see the Owner’s Manual).
- Remove the front wheel (see the owner’s manual).
- Remove the fork legs (see the owner’s manual).
- Remove the start number plate (see the owner’s manual).
- Remove the front fender (see the owner’s manual).
- Remove the handlebar pad.
- Remove the lower triple clamp
(see the owner’s manual).
