Cautions
Cautions are identified by the Caution symbol shown above.
Cautions alert the user to exercise care necessary for the safe and effective use of FM800Encore
monitor.
CAUTION
: Do not mount the equipment directly above the patient. Place the
equipment in a location where it cannot harm the patient should it fall from its shelf or
other mount
CAUTION
: Do not operate the equipment using damaged cables and wires, or loose
snap fittings, which may cause interference or loss of signal. A frequent electrical and
visual inspection on cables and wires is advisable.
CAUTION
: Observe ESD (electrostatic discharge) precautions when working within
the unit and/or when disassembling and reassembling FM800Encore monitor and
when handling any of the components of FM800Encore monitor.
CAUTION
: Ferrite Cores are used for electromagnetic compatibility. Do not remove
Ferrite Cores while disassembling or reassembling.
CAUTION
: For continued protection against risk of fire, replace only with same type
and rating of fuse.
CAUTION
: The accuracy of the readings obtained from this equipment may be
affected by the presence of a pacemaker or by cardiac arrhythmia.
