Removing the Headrail
■
Remove the louvers.
➤
Push up on the louver.
➤
Gently open the louver hook by inserting a ‘credit card’ size piece of rigid plastic
between the louver hook.
➤
Carefully remove the louver.
■
For cord and chain control units, disconnect the cord tensioner from its mounting place.
■
Locate the rear tab on the installation bracket.
■
Firmly holding the headrail, push up on the rear tab with your fi nger to release the headrail.
■
Roll the headrail down at the rear and then push it toward the window, releasing it from the
installation brackets.
CAUTION:
Removing long headrails will require more than one person to avoid damaging
the headrail.

Dusting
■
Regular light dusting with a feather duster is all the cleaning that is needed in most
circumstances.
Vacuuming
■
Use a hand-held vacuum with low suction for more thorough dust removal.
Spot-Cleaning
■
Spot-clean using a mild detergent solution (Cadence
®
Impressions
™
only).
Compressed Air
■
You can use compressed air or a hair dryer (cool setting) to blow the dust off your valance.
Ultrasonic and Injection/Extraction
■
Safe for all fabrics except Cadence Motif
™
.
■
Do not use on any other louver type.
