3.8. DISK MANAGEMENT
A.
Overwrite Mode
Select “ON” for the oldest recording data to be overwritten by new recording data.
Select “OFF” for the DVR to stop writing data into HDD when its space is full.
B.
Hard Disk Full Warning
Under non-overwrite mode, click the drop down list to change value to
20%/15%/10% or 5%. When the HDD space is less than the setting ratio, the
buzzer will start buzzing.
C. Auto Deletion
S
elect “ON” to discard the recording data that is older than the reserve day.
For example: On 2014/10/19 17:40. The auto deletion is set to
“ON”. The reserve
day is set to 3. If the recording data is older than 2014/10/16 17:40, it will not be
available on the playback menu.
D. Reserve Day
Click on
◄ or ► to select how long from 1~30 days of keeping your file. Note: If
the “Overwrite Mode” is set to OFF and the DVR keeps recording, the HDD will
finally get full regardless if
“Auto Deletion” is ON.
